about

Sayeeda is an artist rebuilding her life at 51 after losing everything. She experienced early childhood trauma and many difficulties throughout her adult life up until recently. She is now learning to live with Complex PTSD, not as a label, but as a lived experience that shapes how she moves through the world.

Sayeeda’s creative practice is rooted in healing — each brushstroke is a step toward reclaiming the parts of herself that were silenced, forgotten, or buried.

Art became Sayeeda’s way to survive, then to feel, and now, to connect. Through her paintings, she explores the inner child, emotional recovery, and the quiet strength that comes from starting over — again and again.

This space reflects that journey. Not the polished version, but the raw, honest one — expressed through colour, texture, and emotion.

Thank you for being part of it.

message from sayeeda:

For the girl I once was
I am doing this for you
For the little girl who should have been held, nurtured and protected.
Who learned to survive in silence, alone and carried too much too soon.
I see you now, your pain, your wonder, your imagination, your spirit, your gentleness - all of it matters.
Every colour I paint with, every canvas I touch is a promise, that you are not forgotten.
That you were always worthy of love, joy and safety.
I am building a life now that holds space for you to rest, play and to be free.
